Biskupiec is located about 40 km from Olsztyn – the capital of the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship. It is the seat of the urban-rural municipality of Biskupiec. The town is situated in the south-eastern part of Warmia in the Olsztyn Lake District, on the Dymer River. Biskupiec is often said to offer “a landscape full of possibilities” – for a good reason. The municipality has been experiencing a dynamic development, it offers numerous tourist and recreational attractions, forests, lakes, as well as a convenient access to Olsztyn via the national road No. 16 and the Olsztyn ring road.
