The capital of Warmia and Mazury has once again been recognized as the best city to live in Poland, this time in the latest ranking prepared by CUK Insurance. This is another such distinction – in April, Business Insider also awarded Olsztyn the title of the best place to live in the country.
Olsztyn, Lublin, and Gdańsk are the best cities to live in Poland in 2024, according to the August ranking by CUK Insurance. Factors such as access to NFZ facilities, salary levels, housing prices, unemployment rates, crime rates, and air quality were considered. The ranking authors based their findings on data provided by the Central Statistical Office, the National Health Fund, and the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection.
What placed Olsztyn at the top of the list of cities with the best quality of life? The region’s capital was praised for its low crime rate, vast green spaces, affordable housing prices, and good air quality. Undoubtedly, Olsztyn stands out among other Polish cities thanks to its unique offering – numerous lakes, green areas, and sustainable urban planning make life here not only comfortable but also exceptionally peaceful.
