Investing in an Apartment: A Safe Way to Protect Your Capital. - Deweloper Olsztyn DDOM, Nowe mieszkania Olsztyn i Apartamenty na sprzedaż w Olsztynie Barczewie, Mieszkania Centrum Olsztyn

Investing money is one of the ways to avoid the negative effects of inflation. But what should you invest in? In times of crisis and rising costs, real estate, including investment apartments, provides a secure option.

17.9% in October – consumer inflation in Poland hasn’t been this high in decades. However, in this article, we won’t focus on what caused it or when the situation will return to normal.

How to Invest Wisely During Inflation?

Instead, we want to suggest what you can do to protect your finances in these challenging times. “Rule number 1: Never lose money. Rule number 2: Always remember rule number 1” – once said Warren Buffett, the American investor and businessman.

This rule holds true now, as many people wonder if, during the energy crisis and soaring costs, it’s worth protecting their capital by investing in apartments.

According to data presented by Business Insider, last year, 36% of new apartments in Poland were purchased for investment purposes. Despite the turbulence the real estate market has faced this year, experts agree: it’s still a good time to invest in apartments.

Investment Apartments – A Safe Way to Protect Capital

First of all, new buyers can count on an increase in the value of their apartment (higher than inflation) as well as financial benefits from renting it out. Time works in our favor since, for two decades, the price per square meter of apartments has been steadily increasing. According to data compiled by the Housing Price Index, apartment prices in the primary market increased by an average of 15.5% last year.

When choosing an apartment to protect your capital, it’s essential to make the right choice. Experts agree: you should consider the reputation of the developer, the address or location, and the quality.

Experienced developers, like DDom, who carry out investments in top locations in Warmia and Masuria (e.g., Warmiński Port by Lake Ukiel), guarantee not only high-quality projects but also reliability, ensuring they fulfill their plans even during crises. Apartment size is also significant – investors primarily opt for smaller units in attractive locations.

In this regard, our new project stands out – Grzegorzewska Apartments in Olsztyn, located right on the bank of the Łyna River, next to the Łynostrada walking and cycling path, and just a few hundred meters from the city center and Old Town.

Grzegorzewska Apartments – A Safe Investment in the Future

The project draws inspiration from the local traditions of Warmia and perfectly integrates with the surroundings of the river and greenery. Grzegorzewska Apartments combine thoughtful design, high-quality finishing materials, and meticulous execution.

The development will consist of 37 apartments, with the entire ground floor dedicated to investment apartments and studios up to 43 square meters, for which owners can deduct 23% VAT. In this case, the investor only bears the net cost of the apartment.

The remaining 22 apartments on the first and second floors will be classic residential units. Additionally, the top floor will feature glazed and functional balconies and terraces, as well as mezzanines built to a high standard.

The building will also include an underground garage with 21 parking spaces, with additional parking spots available outside. We have also implemented eco-friendly solutions, including electric car chargers. A kayak station will also be built right next to the apartment building.

These are the main reasons why our apartments are highly sought after by investors. Additionally, during the football World Cup in Qatar, we are offering a “Champion Promotion” for selected apartments: the investor now pays 50% of the apartment’s value, with the remaining amount due just before handover, in mid-2024. We are also reducing the price per square meter by 500 PLN, and investment apartments can be purchased starting at 239,000 PLN net.
